Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Chicago

Optiver is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the growing Human Resources team and be involved in all aspects of the department. The right individual will be hardworking, motivated, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.  Projects will involve looking at the big picture items while also focusing on the day-to-day tasks and administrative responsibilities with a high focus on attention to detail.

What you’ll do: 
•   Coordinate all aspects of employee on-boarding processes from background checks to orientation.
•   Assist in benefit administration, including communication, enrollment, and status changes.
•   Assist with immigration including visa procurement for new and existing employees.
•   Maintain comfortable working knowledge of Success Factors and ADP Workforce Now to effectively administer new hire on-boarding, benefits, staff changes and communicate and resolve questions or malfunctions.
•   Develop and prepare reports with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
•   Coordinate employee transfer process with global partners.
•   Administer employee recognition program.
•   Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
•   Create, organize, and maintain employee files and records.
•   Assist with ad hoc HR projects as needed.
•   Maintain a high level of internal and external confidentiality.
•   Provide thoughtful ideas based on research of policies, training, and other HR needs.

What you’ll need:  
•   Bachelor’s Degree required
•   2-3 years of prior experience working in Human Resources
•   Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Success Factors, Microsoft Office Suite a plus
•   Self -starter and self motivated with strong organizational skills
•   Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task
•   Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
•   Ability to handle priorities and to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment
•   Positive, professional attitude and presence
•   Attention to detail with ability to prioritize work efficiently
•   Reliable, courteous, and flexible team player
