We are seeking an emotionally intelligent and passionate Leader of our Learning and Development function. You will build and scale a high-performance learning and development function by developing best-in-class programs that will support our teams to achieve business objectives. This leader will partner across executive leadership, function leaders and the People Team to create value and continuously improve training offerings while tracking and achieving successful results and outcomes. This role will report to the Head of People and while working remotely for the time being, will require regular presence in our Chicago office.


Responsibilities

· Cultivate trusting relationships with senior leadership, frontline managers, employees throughout the organization, while partnering across departments to develop and deliver training programs

· Work with senior leadership to create and deliver a leadership development program and deliver development experiences that build manager and leader capabilities across the organization

· Own and lead the Sales learning lifecycle, ensuring new and tenured sales talent are positioned for success

· Conduct companywide needs assessments to determine future learning opportunities

· Create, facilitate, and support ongoing training on Diversity and Inclusion efforts to enhance Rewards Network culture

· Define & measure KPIs for the L&D function and internal programs

· Create, implement & manage initiatives to improve effectiveness of all training

· Manage learning management system, including annual compliance trainings, creating content for departmental developmental needs, and ensuring an effective use of online learning content across the organization

· Identify ongoing new ideas, practices, and processes to continuously deliver high quality and highly effective training programs

· Work closely with People Team and other departments to enhance new hire onboarding content, employment branding, and other content to position Rewards Network as an employer of choice

 

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in business, human resource development, education, or related field

· 5+ years of experience leading an L&D function in a strong service-based industry

· Previous experiencing creating and supporting L&D initiatives to a sales organization is strongly preferred

· Documented success building a Learning & Development function within a service-based industry; preference for experience in B2B environments

· Experience delivering training programs in a variety of environments; lecture, activity-based learning, virtual and skills practice

· Demonstrated track record of creating L&D content to assist with improving the efficiency and processes within the business

· Motivational leader with energy, enthusiasm and ability to succeed in a high growth environment

· Track record of success supporting & leading on multiple highly visible initiatives simultaneously
