About the Position

As an L&D Specialist you will be part of the L&D team within the People department. You will work cross functionally with key business leaders to help identify and implement the training standards and methodologies to guarantee the personal growth and development of our Showpad employees. Our goal is to have each employee grow and develop continuously in their roles. In this position you will report to the global L&D manager and be based in our US headquarters in Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the L&D internal training platform, Showpad University.
• This includes Program Design; creating internal training calendar, establish the training catalogue, publish new training courses on the platform, manage subscriptions and administer accounts
• Coordinate the new hire orientation training
• Coordinate and manage training requests
• Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness
• Enhance internal training and increase professionalism by introducing the right tools, methodologies and programs

• A profound knowledge of training and methodologies
• Training content development and management
• E-learning and e-learning tools
• Training tools and methodologies
• Training management
• Strong copywriting skills and a track record in writing compelling communication output
