POSITION SUMMARY
The Learning Consultant in this position will analyze needs, design, develop, and implement programs in support of a rapidly growing company. This person will use a variety of educational media and a systematic instructional design methodology to support the design and development of sophisticated training tools and programs for designated bswift audiences and will assess and report on the effectiveness and impact of training programs.

Fundamental Components:
Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Proactively collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to analyze performance gaps and learning needs.
  • Consult with business partners, focusing on desired performance outcomes to develop appropriate curriculum.
  • Develop creative, effective solutions to business problems. Create program design strategy documents, develop communication plans, and drive project management activities to support complex learning strategies.
  • Design and develop assigned curriculum to include facilitator guides, participant guides, and performance-based assessments; complete within estimated timeframe.
  • Proactively lead projects or programs to completion.
  • Identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows. Partner with business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed.
  • Track impact and evaluate programs to determine effectiveness.
  • Incorporate feedback gathered from participants and other relevant audiences to improve training, processes and products.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects effectively and accurately; anticipate the needs of the business, and proactively seek solutions.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and works well in a fast-moving environment.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • 4-6 years experience in Instructor Systems Design (ISD) Methodology
  • 4-6 years in Instructor Lead Training (ILT)
  • 1- 3 years Technology Based Training (TBT)

    This candidate will be part of a team that is establishing a learning infrastructure for a rapidly growing company. The candidate will have the ability to make an impact by building learning opportunities from the ground level up. A successful candidate is one who thinks creatively and seeks opportunities for growth.

    This position supports training for bswifts different departments, including bswifts call center. The candidate should have superior knowledge of performance-based instructional design methodologies with application in both instructor-led and technology-based environments. They should have a solid background in adult learning principles, educational media, and training assessment.

    This role requires strong program/project-management, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities within a fast-paced environment. The position interfaces with multiple stakeholders and requires strong consulting skills and excellent verbal/written communication skills. The successful candidate should have the ability to thrive both as a team player and independently and remain accountable for results. 

    Experience with call center training preferred.

    EDUCATION
    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
