To support additional organizational growth and increased clinical staff, we are looking for a Manager, Clinical Career Development to champion career and learning initiatives with an intense focus on our clinical teams. You will be an early member of our growing team and will help to develop and execute a best-in-class talent development function that will empower our clinical employees to own their career at VillageMD. You will be trusted to own a variety of projects and drive clinical team retention with a focus on our core values of Getting Stuff Done, Building Trust and Innovating.
As the Manager, Clinical Career Development, you are a critical problem solver and champion of VMD culture. You easily build relationships and trust within all levels of our organization, build programs and experiences that engage others, and elevate the overall employee experience. You will have the unique opportunity to help shape our talent development capabilities, using your curiosity and innovation as our team always wants to know how we can continue to deliver for our employees.

How you can make a difference

• Collaborating with clinical leadership to design, execute, and ensure creative delivery of innovative career programming for our clinical teams
  • Manage and actively execute innovative, scalable programs and activities to support clinic staff engagement and retention
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clinic team leaders throughout Village Medical to support this programming as we grow and scale
  • Partnering to design and deliver high quality, scalable presentations, and learning materials across the organization
  • Researching talent development trends and staying up to date on best-in-class programs to continue to offer scalable solutions to support VillageMD’s growth
  • Bringing teams together with a cohesive vision that will unify all of our clinics nationwide
  • Willingness to jump in to support and add value to other talent development related projects

• Passion for creating and improving employee experiences that inspire and prepare people to positively impact business outcomes
  • Proven project management skills evidenced by the ability to effectively coordinate internal and external learning programs, meeting deadlines, and adhering to established budgets
  • Collaborating effectively across the organization to continuously earn trust and establish strong relationships that position talent development as a critical partner
  • Creative communication skills with a focus on consistent and timely follow-up and follow-through
  • You are self-assured and have a high tolerance for ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Servant leadership mentality with the ability to focus on building cohesive clinical teams

Experience to drive change

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR, preferably talent development, talent management, or a learning role focused on clinical training programs
  • Some exposure or direct work within the healthcare industry a plus
  • Experience in a high-growth company or employee focused organization preferred
  • Excellent communication and the ability to bring together a group of stakeholders to align on the goal and execute on the determined plan
  • Flexibility and the desire to be a key contributor to an energetic and passionate team
  • Humility and an ability to connect with others and gain trust through effective communication and doing what you say you will do
  • An aptitude for analyzing data and preparing executive-facing reports and communications in support of advancing talent initiatives within the business
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
