We are seeking a People Operations Business Partner to support our 400+ Operations, Culinary, and Logistics people team based in Chicago. You will work independently, serving as a solo People Operations team with support from the People Operations team based at Headquarters in San Francisco. In this role you will provide counsel on all things people related: performance management, talent development, compensation philosophy, leadership coaching, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. As a member of an early stage start-up you will have a unique opportunity to be the architect for people policies, processes and initiatives, and will have a first hand opportunity to design and implement employee recognition and rewards programs. You should be interested and excited by the opportunity to work with a diverse group of employee stakeholders. You will be responsible for championing our culture and ensuring that the team is energetic and happy.
Responsibilities
- Lead Sprig Chicago team through people issues and people programs (compensation, talent development, performance, etc.) Advise leadership on people related strategy and decisions (including organizational design, planning, and compensation)
- Provide expertise in development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations efforts
- Collaborate to develop company-wide strategies and programs based on data insights
- Develop HR/people oriented programs to positively impact change management
- Assess employee development needs and make recommendations for appropriate solutions
- Design and deliver targeted solutions, including strategic planning, visioning, change management and team building
- Deliver appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and employees
Desired Skills & Experience
- At least 5+ years experience as an HR Business Partner, or equivalent, in a rapidly growing technology environment
- Strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organization issues
- Effective influencer, communication, and interpersonal skills; great listener
- Excellent problem solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently
- Exceptional consulting, coaching and facilitation skillsAnalytically driven; fluent with data-driven analysis
- Demonstrated project management/change management skills
- Comfortable operating in a constantly changing environment
- Experience helping organizations scale required
- BA/BS required
