What we need
Smokeball is growing quickly and we're looking for a powerhouse recruiter to join our award-winning culture. This role will focus on finding the best talent in the US, whether that be entry-level or highly experienced. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication and project management skills, and is passionate about creating a best-in-class candidate experience.
A day in the life:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for the Sales team and other areas of the business, including search strategy, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation
  • Implement innovative recruiting practices that attract diverse, high-quality candidates that add to Smokeball's long-term strategy
  • Create targeted sourcing strategies to help Smokeball be more successful in pipelining both active and passive Sales talent, including leveraging social media and creating compelling job postings
  • Use data and reporting to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations
  • Work closely with the VP of People and hiring managers on headcount planning and process


*This role is eligible for bonuses based on recruitment and retention goals.
What you bring

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, with an emphasis on Sales recruiting
  • Experience utilizing an ATS, such as BambooHR
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively source and convert talented candidates in a competitive job market
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Talent for providing high quality independent analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with integrity
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations around recruiting

I love my HR Specialist job at Smokeball and how it's given me the opportunity to learn and grow and redefine my role throughout the years. Outside of work I'm happily focused on family time. I have a 16-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son, and they keep me busy with their activities, sports, and friends. But when I get some alone time, I love to shop, take long walks in the city, and listen to thriller audio books and true crime podcasts.
