You will interact with hiring teams to support our overall sales recruiting function. You'll spend your time building a talent pipeline from college campuses through campus event execution, facilitating a strong sense of who Groupon is and why we are so passionate about local businesses. Ultimately, you'll contribute to our overall business growth by finding and engaging with some of the best sales talent in the world.
Responsibilities:
Full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and engagement until onboarding
Plan and execute various campus events (e.g. career fairs, information sessions, mock interviews, resume workshops, on campus interviews)
Creatively promote the Groupon brand on college campuses and at conferences
Develop and cultivate relationships with key contacts at target schools including academic faculty, career services, development offices and student organizations
Implement sourcing strategies to identify talented college candidates while incorporating diversity initiatives
Maintain sales university recruiting budget
Execute recruitment strategies to reach high volume campus hiring goals
Keep meticulous track of applicant data, reporting and analysis
Analyze progress and results at core focus schools, identify best practices and deliver strategic recommendations for future recruiting efforts
Qualifications:
1-3 years university recruiting experience in-line with the above functions or 1-3 years recruiting experience with strong interest in university recruitment space
Ability to travel up to 50% during peak campus recruitment season
Evidence of high volume recruiting for multiple functions, with a defined and resourceful approach of how you engage, assess, and close well-matched talent
Strong project and program management skills
Focused ability to see through work from conception to execution
Metric driven mindset and passion for showing value to the business through data
Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environment
Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
Experience with recruitment tools (Workday ATS, Google Docs, Handshake, Symplicity) a plus
