Senior Coordinator, Global TA Programs
Are you a problem solver? Do you shine when you’re in a supportive role, helping teammates do their best work?
Groupon’s mission is to become the daily habit in local commerce and fulfill our purpose of building strong communities through thriving small businesses by connecting people to a vibrant, global marketplace for local services, experiences and goods. In the process, we’re positively impacting the lives of millions of customers and merchants globally. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. If you want to take more ownership of your career, then you're ready to be part of Groupon.
As the Talent Acquisition Programs team, we play a key role in the success of Groupon’s Global Talent Acquisition organization. We are the ‘Center of Excellence’ for recruiting and are comprised of teammates from University Relations (UR), Operations (Ops), and Employer Brand (EB). Together, we champion everything from candidate attraction, our award-winning campus recruiting program, and operational efficiency across all geographies.
As a Senior Coordinator on the TA Programs team, you will work with our team to support projects and initiatives across the globe. You will be responsible for balancing the teams’ workloads while handling more routine administrative duties. A typical week might include scheduling interviews for our UR team, liaising with procurement on the status of contracts, building stories in our People Blog, or setting up demos with potential future vendors. Whether you’re working on tasks big or small, your work will have a positive impact across our candidates, hiring managers, and teammates.
We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact. We're curious, fun, a little intense, and kind of obsessed with helping local businesses thrive. Does that sound like a compelling place to work?
You’ll spend time on the following:
Ensure that our fast-paced Talent Acquisition Programs teams run smoothly
Handle coordination and communications on behalf of the UR team, ensuring an amazing experience for all candidates and hiring teams
Respond quickly and efficiently to urgent tasks in an environment with constantly changing priorities (such as scheduling changes, urgent or confidential administrative needs, etc.)
Serve as the point of contact for various UR or EB activities, such as events, social media campaigns, or order tracking
Conduct thorough research and make sound recommendations on future recruiting tools, systems, and processes
Schedule demos with vendors and all internal stakeholders for prospective tools
Work with procurement and legal teams on the negotiation and management of vendor agreements, MSAs, contracts for recruiting tools and job posting sites
Maintain a vendor calendar to ensure preparation for all potential contract renewals
Track projects from initiation to completion; lead smaller projects independently
Track progress and deliver against various people rollouts (interview training, development tools) and partner with project teams to support
Input content into Wordpress for Groupon People Blog
We’re excited about you if you have:
2+ years of administrative, recruiting, or HR experience
You have experience with recruiting processes, systems, tools, and programs with a deep understanding of a recruiting life cycle
You have experience building rapport with internal clients and have strong interpersonal skills
You're adaptable and can think on your feet; when faced with new challenges or tough conversations, you face them head-on
You take an entrepreneurial approach to task management and have the ability to take control and meet tight deadlines
You have strong calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex meetings and scheduling across numerous internal and external contacts
You're a creative problem solver who finds problems and recommends effective plans of action
Whether it's via email or presentation, you're able to communicate complex information simply and clearly
You have excellent skills in Google Suite (Docs, Calendar, Sheets, Mail) and PowerPoint; experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Wordpress a plus
