GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Leadership & Organizational Development Senior Manager will work with the VP in assessing Ulta’s organizational needs as they relate to sustaining a Leadership & Organizational Development function (Center of Excellence). The L&OD COE provides support and expertise in the design, implementation and evaluation of processes, programs and interventions that enhance organizational performance and the professional development of Ulta Beauty leaders and team members. The individual will partner with their COE peers and HR Business Partners to identify and develop solutions based on business priorities and organizational analysis.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
- Support design, administer, and conduct analysis of yearly employee engagement and culture survey.
- Design and continuously improve enterprise talent management and succession planning processes, tools and reporting.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve enterprise goal management and performance management processes and tools.
- Partner and collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to implement core L&OD strategies and processes to drive employee engagement and business results.
- Assess leadership development needs and deliver customized strategies and programs to increase officer and director leadership effectiveness.
- Conduct diagnosis and provide expertise in the development and implementation of customized OD strategies, solutions, interventions and tools (e.g., strategic planning, team effectiveness, change management, organization design, etc.)
- Design, manage and deliver high performance learning programs and methods; partner with key business stakeholders.
- Provide effective one-on-one and team coaching designed to improve performance.
- Manage the vendors/partners in executing effectively deliver of programs and initiatives.
- Partner with all HR COEs to create and deliver effective programs
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- BA required. Masters in Organizational Development, Leadership, Adult Learning or related field strongly preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in roles responsible for organizational development, culture change, leadership and people development. Experience in the integration of leadership development and talent management strongly preferred.
- Strong technical/professional expertise in the areas of adult learning, learning and executive development, organizational development consulting and learning/instructional design.
- Strong project management skills, including a proven track record of leading large, complex projects using standard project management practices and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication and consulting skills. Ability to assess needs, influence, collaborate, deliver and partner at the most senior levels in the organization.
