FAQs

What will I be doing as a Senior Payroll Specialist at Quantium?

You will be running the all elements of the day-to-day payroll process for our Americas team (currently 50 employees), be the go-to payroll expert for all of our internal and external stakeholders in the US, and take ownership of building a streamlined and successful payroll function from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity with the best of both worlds – the responsibility and stretch opportunity of being the standalone payroll expert in a growing team in the US, whilst continuing to develop and be supported by the expertise of our global payroll lead and HR team based in Sydney (we have over 800 employees globally).

Why should I be excited about this opportunity?

With our Americas team being established a little over three years ago, this is a unique opportunity to join an exciting, high growth environment, whilst knowing that you have global capability to back you. Quantium’s 17 years of experience in the industry has demonstrated our ongoing success and growth through a multiplicity of environments.

Being part of a small and growing team comes with opportunities to diversify your skill set and add huge value to the success of Quantium. Whether it be in HR, Finance or perhaps helping to organize our next team social event, we are seeking team players who are willing to contribute to other areas of our company in their own unique way.

What is the team culture like?

We are a team of diverse and fun professionals working in an environment where colleagues quickly become friends. We are passionate, work hard and are always looking for new ways to learn and grow. In the office, there’s always someone around to grab a bite for lunch or to raid the snacks cupboard with. Quantium’s culture of collaboration also means that regardless of what team, level or position you’re in, your ideas will always be heard and there will be someone to help when needed.

How has COVID-19 affected the team’s working arrangements?

Currently, our team is working from home and continuing to connect with each other virtually. All interviewing and on-boarding will be done under this arrangement until it is safe to return to our offices. Currently adjusting to our new “normal” aka working remotely, we have continued to work productively and are staying connected as a team with virtual boot camps, lunches, happy hour and movie viewing parties.

What is Quantium looking for in the ideal candidate?

Firstly, you can be anybody, from any walk of life. Before we get to your skills we want you to know that we actively try to foster an environment where all our employees feel safe, welcomed and celebrated. We look for the same in all people we hire.
