JOB SUMMARY: 

The Senior HRIS Analyst role performs analysis, configuration, testing and on-going support and maintenance of HR systems, primarily SuccessFactors compensation and variable pay modules. The person in this role has a thorough understanding of HR business processes (specifically in the disciplines of compensation and benefits) to enable the analysis and development of solutions for the business and systems we support.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY & DUTIES:  

  • Serves as subject matter expert for configuration, maintenance and reporting from the systems utilized in the compensation and benefits processes.
  • Collaborates with vendor partners to configure and customize systems, evaluate and test new functionality and interfaces, solve technical problems and manage priorities.
  • Plans, leads, coordinates and facilitates the user acceptance testing (UAT) process for managers, associates and HR users for new or existing system functionality.
  • Partners with HR, particularly compensation and benefits teams, to ensure processes and systems meet business needs and communicates system features / functionality and best practices.
  • Enforces data integrity through regular audits and data transaction best practices.
  • Documents requirements, system administrator guides, and ‘how-to’ instructions for compensation and benefits solutions.
  • Trains managers, associates and HR users on system functionality and supporting processes for new and existing system deployments.
  • Proactively explores, vets, validates, and enables new system features including new releases.
  • Attends conferences, webinars and training to understand the future direction or trends.

 

 


Requirements

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 7-10 years of HRIS experience.
  • Technical competence with SAP SuccessFactors compensation and variable pay modules.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Project management, problem-solving and critical analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of extended Microsoft Office Suite required, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Robust familiarity with the HR Talent Life Cycle, particularly the compensation and benefits processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP HCM, Employee Central and various SuccessFactors solutions.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Normal office demands including nights and weekends as work conditions dictate.

Our satellite campus is in Chicago at 120 S. Riverside Plaza with 100 workstations & conference rooms which associates can reserve.
