We address all aspects of the SBL business from loan origination through the servicing of the line of credit over its lifetime to the closing of the line. We are looking for an experienced Talent and Culture Business Partner to lead all aspects of our Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will excel at sourcing the best talent in Chicago and building a People program that fosters great culture, employee development, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting
- Ensure Supernova hires the best talent in the industry, especially for technology roles
- Source, identify, qualify, and screen candidates for our openings
- Create a voice for Supernova and develop a strategy to broaden reach within the Chicago market
- Collaborate with senior leadership on hiring needs/plans and advise on interview processes and market alignment
- People
- Build a world-class People program
- Help define and foster Supernova’s culture
- Partner with managers to improve and refine employee onboarding, performance management, and compensation strategies and processes
- Help Supernova achieve best-in-class employee retention and satisfaction metrics
- Advise management on appropriate handling of employee relations issues
- Work with attorneys to help employees through H-1B Visa and Green Card processes
- Compensation and Benefits
- Manage PEO to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Manage the hiring, performance review, separation of service and related processes
- Help manage costs while maintaining employee satisfaction and retention
- Plan to lead shift away from PEO in the next 1-3 years
Qualification
- 2+ years of experience in relevant roles
- Experience building and leading People, Culture, Recruiting, Compensation and Benefits functions
- Must be a self-starter who can autonomously execute on agreed objectives
- Experience building and implementing processes
- Ability to establish rapport with current and prospective Supernova team members at all levels
- Startup experience preferred. Technology and FinTech experience a plus
- College degree required
