Do you have a passion for helping people grow?

Groupon’s mission is to become the daily habit in local commerce and fulfill our purpose of building strong communities through thriving small businesses by connecting people to a vibrant, global marketplace for local services, experiences and goods. In the process, we’re positively impacting the lives of millions of customers and merchants globally. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. If you want to take more ownership of your career, then you're ready to be part of Groupon.

The Talent Development Coordinator will be part of the Global Talent Development team and will support the North America Talent Development Partners to launch and manage a portfolio of talent development programs and processes. Collectively, the team is responsible for employee and leadership development, employee engagement, performance management and Talent Development support, and the Talent Development Coordinator may support projects related to any of these areas.

We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a significant and meaningful impact. We're curious, fun, a little intense, and kind of obsessed with helping local businesses thrive. Does that sound like a compelling place to work?

How you'll spend your time:

  • Partner with the TD team to support execution on TD deliverables in North America, and occasionally in other regions

  • Coordinate training events, including but not limited to scheduling, procuring and distributing training materials, managing nomination and enrollment, and handling communications with participants

  • Coordinate recruiting events

  • Track and report on operational data, including program participation and evaluation

  • Identify and track metrics to determine overall effectiveness and adhere to compliance requirements

  • Own the project management of assignments at the regional or global levels

  • Provide information and resources to program participants and business leaders

  • Help build a sustainable infrastructure for the TD team through documentation, tools, and resources

  • Effectively manage timelines and resources

  • Develop and manage effective processes and procedures

  • Build strong relationships with the global TD team, as well as HR and business stakeholders

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 3+ years experience working in Human Resources

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Organizational Development / Behavior preferred

  • Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment

  • Ability to build credibility and relationships quickly

  • Proactive attitude with a bias for action

  • Ability to exceed expectations and drive impactful results despite ambiguity and adversity

  • Work well individually and capable of aligning needs across stakeholders and teams

  • Strong project management, document management, and organization skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail with a desire to lead operational improvements

  • Basic data manipulation skills in excel; basic data visualization skills are a plus

  • Experience with reporting and metrics

  • Willingness to work administratively while driving collaboration and alignment across diverse stakeholders

Groupon provides a global marketplace where people can buy just about anything, anywhere, anytime. We’re enabling real-time commerce across an expanding range of categories including local businesses, travel destinations, consumer products, and live or lively events. At the same time, we are providing advertising options and tools that merchants can use to grow and manage their businesses. Culturally, we believe that great people make great companies and that starting with the customer and working backward moves us forward. Community matters to us on an internal, local and global scale—it’s fundamental to our company’s growth and to the well-being of the world at large. We also value self-awareness, candor, lunch and WiFi. If we match with you, please apply to join us.
