Talent Scout
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The OP Talent Scout is responsible for driving all of our internal hiring activity. As a talent solutions firm, we’re always looking for experience and junior recruiters to add to our team. Our Talent Scout is the ultimate recruiter for recruiters. We’ll work together to best support you in identifying the key characteristics and competencies of the talent we want to keep building our team with. The Talent Scout will hire people to support our three unique service offerings as well as our other corporate positions.
Additionally, our clients are often asking us to help them hire exceptional recruiters too. So this person will have an opportunity to earn commissions making placements at our clients as well!
The things you’ll be responsible for:
Developing a killer recruiting strategy that is aligned with OP’s goals
Generate candidate pipelines using networking, creative outbound messaging, and smart research
Qualify candidates by conducting phone, zoom and in-person interviews to obtain professional goals, competencies, work history, education and salary expectations
Own the candidate experience and inspire each person we connect with to want to work with us here at OP
Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to management and hiring stakeholders
Represent the firm at Talent Acquisition and HR based networking events

We think you’ll be best prepared for this role if you have:
At least 2 years of experience recruiting - ideally for a contingency placement agency, contract services, and/or executive search firm
Relentless desire to achieve your goals
The creativity and resilience to overcome obstacles and objections
The persistence and enthusiasm to successfully manage candidates through a recruiting process
Solid time management and prioritization skills
You have a knack for using social media to create some buzz
You can productively work with autonomy and in ambiguity
An entrepreneurial spirit - willingness to work towards the growth of the firm even when the duty stretches outside your job description
BA/BS in a business-related academic major is preferred
