PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

One North is on the lookout for a sharp Accounting Intern to join our team! The opportunity would give you the chance to work 1 on 1 with our Finance team in learning all of the ins and outs of the financials behind our full service digital agency. The ideal candidate would be someone with a great interest in Accounting/ Finance as well as a real hunger to learn on the job. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play an active role and provide support to our Finance Team
• Assist with the data migration of financial information
• Attending various administrative tasks for the team including: project set up, data entry and scanning/shredding documents
• Aid in bank reconciliations
• Maintain company financial records in the NetSuite general ledger focusing on daily cash receipts and vendor bills
• Sending increase renewal communication to clients

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program pursuing a degree in accounting, finance or business
• Availablity to work 10-15 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and procedures
• Experience with NetSuite Accounting Software or equivalent software is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks while working within deadlines
• Internship Timeframe: February 2018 – Early Fall 2018 (flexible depending on school schedule)
