Application Development & Design Internship - Summer 2020
What You'll Bring:
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering degree program
A rising Junior or Senior in a college or university
- Strong proficiency in Java coding and integration with relational databases
- Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
- Solid knowledge of Object Oriented design principles
- Ability and/or willingness to be accountable for automated testing
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
We’d love to see:
- Experience with AngularJS
- Experience with container ecosystem technology, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with development tools such as Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Confluence, SonarQube
- Strong knowledge of technology and product trends in open source, DevOps, and Cloud computing.
Impact You'll Make:
- Work on a team of engineers that plans, designs, hosts, develops, and tests customer software in an Agile environment
- Translate complex technical concepts into high-level designs for development teams
- Experience DevOps by enhancing software delivery pipelines and scripted infrastructure
- Code, test, and release features used by thousands of customers daily
- Interface with Product Managers to deliver useful software
- Implement logging and produce metrics to demonstrate the impact of released code
- Script and deploy immutable infrastructure as needed
- Produce automation where needed to shorten release cycles and improve quality

What You Need to Know:
- This is a paid 12-week summer internship.
- Our Internship Program start dates are determined by your academic calendar! If on Semester system, your internship begins May 27th, 2020. If on Quarter system, your internship begins June 15th, 2020.
