The Team’s Focus:

The Data Acquisition team is responsible for ingesting, standardizing and processing varied data sources and formats coming into TransUnion. The team builds and maintains a unique data processing framework . This data then drives as a major source for the downstream product fulfillments. Flexibility and openness are valued in our entrepreneurial, business-casual environment. We appreciate quick-learning IT professionals with inner drive, a strong work ethic and the desire to grow.

What You'll Bring

Rising Junior, Senior, or Master’s student pursuing a degree in an IT related field

Java, Javascript, and/or C programming understanding

Basic understanding of Linux based systems

Basic understanding of SQL

We'd Love to See:

Exposure or understanding of ETL Tools (Ab Initio strongly preferred)

Prior experience with data processing using open source or commercial tools

Strong written and verbal communication style

A collaborative spirit that is driven to work in a team environment

Impact You'll Make

Partner with senior team members to learn and develop in the Java, C/C++, Ab Initio Product suite

Create and automate development tools and applications

Prototype and explore new product functionalities
