Digital Marketing Intern Job Description
ClearCut Analytics is looking for a creative, curious, and motivated Digital Marketing intern to join our growing team. The Digital Marketing Intern will gain real-world experience by working alongside the Director of Marketing to build brand awareness and generate sales leads through a variety of online strategies. The ideal candidate loves writing and research, is passionate about technology, has impeccable attention to detail, and possesses an eagerness to learn and expand their skills.
Responsibilities
Manage the ClearCut blog—owning the editorial calendar, conducting research, writing and editing content, promoting posts through multiple tactics, and reporting on results
Execute day-to-day social media strategy, which includes (but is not limited to) creating copy, designing images or short videos, engaging with followers, and implementing other innovative strategies to optimize followers
Research and evaluate competitor marketing/digital content and present recommendations for ClearCut to improve its approach
Research and develop ideas for webinars and long-form content
Monitor industry publications and social media for trending news and insights
Support any website related activities, including joining calls with our vendor, implementing SEO strategies, and monitoring results
Requirements
In pursuit of or completed a 4-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent work experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
In-depth knowledge of social media channels (including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram)
Passion for marketing and learning best practices
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table
Ability to move projects forward in a meaningful, timely manner with limited oversight
Availability to work 15-20 hours per week
Experience in design (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is a plus
Previous internship experience in a marketing-related role is a plus
