Distributed Storage Internship - Summer 2020
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in languages like Python, Powershell and Shell scripting
- Experience in Automating tasks
- Good documentation skills using MS Office Products.
We'd love to see:
- Background in Storage technologies(SAN, NAS, Backups) is helpful
Impact You'll Make:
- Validate storage hardware inventory with CMDB
- Cross check maintenance line items with validated inventory
- Check all Incident and Problem management queues.
- Monitor daily backups
- Assist Capacity mgmt. on report generation.
- Explore monitoring opportunities for new devices
- Document up to date diagrams for Storage, SAN devices
- Cleanup old Zone entries for retired servers on SAN switches
- Validate Data Protection backups/archives with correct policies.
- Expand automation/scripting for Storage tasks

- Our Internship Program start dates are determined by your academic calendar! If on Semester system, your internship begins May 27th, 2020. If on Quarter system, your internship begins June 15th, 2020.
