Overview
The main function of this internship is to support the HR Operations Team's audit of employee personnel files. This role would be responsible for both organizing documents within the digital file storage system (DynaFile) and for moving additional documents from either paper file or Google Drive into DynaFile. This internship will also provide the opportunity for shadowing various People Team members, to learn about other areas of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Moving personal documents into DynaFile:
- Moving personal documents into DynaFile from various other sources:
- Paper files
- Google Drive
Organizing personal files within DynaFile:
- Organize documents in DynaFile using a tagging system
- Use system reporting to determine who is missing documents such as Offer Letter, Handbook Acknowledgement, etc and help with locating missing documents where appropriate
- Document audit process for use as a SOP guide for future audits
Shadowing People Team members:
- Work from our downtown Chicago office approximately once a week, interacting with the broader Human Resources team
- Opportunity to learn about the following departments: Benefits, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation
Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Human Resources, Psychology, or related program
- Ability to work 40 hours per week over the summer (majority of role will be work from home, but will need to be able to commute to downtown Chicago approximately once a week to work in office)
- Intermediate experience with G-Suite and Excel
- Must demonstrate an attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour
