Job Description
The Data Scientist is responsible for producing actionable insights by analyzing company data. Other responsibilities include:
Develop and distribute actionable, value-add analytics supporting the business organizations
Collaborate with IT and Business to solve and breakthrough business problems
Improve and gain an understanding of Data & Analytics techniques such as data mining, deep learning, and other machine learning modeling methodologies
Participate in projects that will help drive business outcomes and value
Verify and ensure the completeness and accuracy of all data
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Strong aptitude for understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources
Use R, Python, AWS, Data Mining, SQL languages
High degree of computer literacy required, including proficient with spreadsheets.
Ability to demonstrate proven problem solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and demonstrate strong time management skills
Ability to gain results in a team based environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
High level of curiosity and creative thinking preferred
Basic Requirements
Candidates must be pursuing/pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant STEM degree
Must have a graduation date on or after December 2020
