Job Description

The Data Scientist is responsible for producing actionable insights by analyzing company data. Other responsibilities include:

• Develop and distribute actionable, value-add analytics supporting the business organizations

• Collaborate with IT and Business to solve and breakthrough business problems

• Improve and gain an understanding of Data & Analytics techniques such as data mining, deep learning, and other machine learning modeling methodologies

• Participate in projects that will help drive business outcomes and value

• Verify and ensure the completeness and accuracy of all data

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong aptitude for understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources

• Use R, Python, AWS, Data Mining, SQL languages

• High degree of computer literacy required, including proficient with spreadsheets.

• Ability to demonstrate proven problem solving and analytical skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and demonstrate strong time management skills

• Ability to gain results in a team based environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment

• High level of curiosity and creative thinking preferred

Basic Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing/pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant STEM degree

• Must have a graduation date on or after December 2020
