tastytrade, Inc is a financial and entertainment network that produces a daily 8-hour live show providing innovative content to help investors take control of their financial future. We are seeking an entry-level production intern who will be trained to operate advanced technical equipment and perform various production roles on our master control team to ensure a smooth and engaging production. The candidate must be a team-oriented individual who is able to communicate effectively, be proactive in learning new skills, and is willing to collaborate across multiple functions. This part-time internship, which pays a $15 hourly starting rate, will begin with 20+ hours/week (Monday-Friday), but has the potential to increase or even lead to full-time status.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in studio & camera setup

• Operate video switcher / technical direct an 8-hour live show

• Operate XPression graphics software in real-time

• Copyedit show content for spelling, grammar, and style

• Upload and manage media assets to website archives

• Assist photographer in live video shoots

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, live production environment

• Knowledge of video production roles/procedures

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Experience with production equipment such as cameras, video switchers, graphics, & Adobe software is a plus
