Marketing Intern

We are looking for a motivated senior, or graduate student with an interest in marketing, digital media and communications to support an active team of marketing professionals. Analytics experience including Google Analytics and other web tools is a big plus. The role is a part or full time, remote, paid internship that will offer a great opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals with various marketing backgrounds and a genuine desire to help develop and grow someone new to the field. What we’re looking for in you:
- Recently completed or is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Communications
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience or interest in marketing and social media
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Can work 20 – 40 hours per week
What you can look forward to doing
- Assist in developing social media calendar for company posts as well as social advocacy initiatives
- Create graphics for social media and other branding initiatives
- Brainstorm and create engaging and creative social media content
- Meet with brand, content and influencer relations leaders on weekly basis to review and approve content submissions
- Work with digital agency to approve and schedule content according to pre-defined process
- Monitor social media analytics and produce reports to regional marketing teams
- Research compelling and relevant content
