The Role

Product Marketing supports both Sales and Marketing by producing content to generate interest in Fusion products.  This internship will focus on developing and editing content that Fusion produces including product overviews, product related web content, blog and social media posts, and scripts for product demonstrations, animated videos, and videos.

The intern in this role will learn the product positioning and help write and edit our product collateral with tools such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, and other video content production software to create outstanding content that explains Fusion’s differentiators in an engaging, educational style.  While this role focuses heavily on writing content, there could be opportunity to expand into graphical layout and video editing.

Another focus area will be performing regular interviews of thought leaders and creating content including blog posts and white papers that will be used to generate and nurture leads through the sales the for

Outcomes will include creating updating existing videos to show new product views, improving the look and feel to keep them up to date and engaging, and monitoring video performance to improve further based on usage tracking statistics.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Organized with high levels of personal accountability
  • Deep critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate degree program, with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism
  • Local Travel (10-20%), between Downtown and Rolling Meadows corporate offices.
