Mid Market Sales Operations Intern at Morningstar
The Group: Morningstar’s Business Development & Sales group is responsible for helping our advisor and institutional clients build their businesses and provide better outcomes for investors. The group is structured primarily along the following client segments: advisors, asset management, institutional consultants, academics, pensions and hedge funds.

This position is based in our Chicago office and will require approximately 40 hrs/wk during school breaks and approximately 15-20 hours during the school year.
Billing and Salesforce Audits: Contacting clients for payment, updating our billing systems throughout the subscription term, ensuring Salesforce is accurate for subscription renewals.
Book of Business (BOB) Analysis: Using data available in Salesforce, Tableau, Discovery, etc., curate lists of upsell leads by segment, specifically underserved markets (i.e. investment consultants, individual companies, etc.) and upsell type (i.e. non-users at firms with subscriptions).
Territory Plan Analysis: This will include aggregating analysis teams to determine common initiatives and opportunities for additional growth.
