Job Description
Motorola Solutions Foundation is an integral part of the company as it reinforces Motorola Solution’s mission in creating safer cities and thriving communities. It does so by investing in public safety and technology and engineering education. Each year, Motorola Solutions Foundation partners with over approximately 250 organizations across the globe and impacts more than two million students, teachers, first responders and community members.
The 2020 Motorola Solutions Foundation Summer Intern position plays a critical role during the Motorola Solutions Foundation’s 2020 grant cycle. The intern may:
Assist in organizing grant inquiries and grant applications using Google Suite and Motorola Solutions Foundation’s grantmaking database
Coordinate Motorola Solutions Foundation’s employee grant review committees
Create reports on Motorola Solutions Foundation’s grantmaking activities and impact
Assist managing Motorola Solutions Foundation’s internal and external social media events
Support in coordinating MSI sponsored volunteer events as appropriate, and prepare communications for Senior Leadership for the volunteer event.
Assist with developing volunteer metrics & giving data and other related communications or Foundation community engagement efforts
Prepare one month financial reports
Create collateral to showcase Motorola Solutions and Motorola Solutions Foundation as a corporate social responsibility leader
Knowledge in Google Sheets and/or Excel
Candidate must be able to work with Google and Microsoft products
Basic Requirements
Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
Must have a graduation date on or after December 1st, 2020
