We’re looking for a sharp Software Engineer Intern. Is it you?
Thorough, attentive, and driven to succeed, you’re excited about software design and enjoy diving into new products to explore it. You understand the critical nature of every detail when it comes to developing and testing software, from the back-end code to client-side interfaces. Teamwork is important to you, and you love the opportunity to learn from mentors.
Here’s what a Software Engineer Intern does at Evive (for people who like bullet lists):
- Design, document, automate, and execute test-case scenarios for multiple accounts.
- Oversee test execution and automation for system management, data provisioning, high availability, access control, and REST APIs.
- Design functional, stress, scalability, and HA tests for the product; testing and configuration of iSCSI/FC clients; and switches connected to Nimble storage arrays.
- Work closely across cross-functional teams.
- Create reports, engineering documentation, and best practices based on test results and analysis.
- Collaborate with Development and QA Engineers to build robust, automated test libraries and scripts.
You bring a lot to the table.
- Currently enrolled in a four-year accredited college or university.
- Strong oral and written communications skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with others.
- Mission-driven with a strong commitment to the vision and values of Evive.
- A positive attitude and excitement for learning.
- Experience with API & SOA Development, as well as building and scaling internet applications.
- Knowledge of Java 8 and OO Design Patterns & Refactoring.
