Technical Intern

The Partner Ecosystem team is responsible for establishing and managing relationships with third party solution, technology, and system integrator companies that enhance the value that Duck Creek provides to its clients. The Duck Creek Partner Ecosystem Summer Intern will help lead the development of a set of database-driven web pages to provide vital and up-to-date information about Duck Creek partners to key internal stakeholders. In doing so, the intern will gain valuable front-end web development experience with RESTful APIs and an introduction to the the Duck Creek culture, product suite, and insurance technologies. The Partner Ecosystem Summer Intern supports the VP of Corporate Strategy and the Partner Ecosystem team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or degree candidate with major in computer science or related field
  • Front-end development experience in HTML5, UX Design, Web databases and RESTful APIs
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally, appropriately and courteously with partners, customers, other outside parties and co-workers

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant work experience in software or insurance/financial services industries
  • Knowledge of property & casualty insurance
  • Experience abroad; foreign language skills
