As the IT Manager at PowerReviews, you and a small team of support staff will ensure a secure and consistently available work environment by supporting the hardware, network and services used by PowerReviews employees. Information security and compliance are also important duties -- your team will be responsible for ensuring that our office environments and networks meet industry standard levels of compliance.’
Key Accountabilities
- Player/manager of support for end users
- Manage internal networking infrastructure
- SaaS vendor management (Google G-Suite, OneLogin SSO, etc)
- Own the security posture of the office networks, with some cross-over into our product operations
- Manage AV systems and vendors
- Hire, train and manage help-desk staff
- Write and submit price proposals for new technology needs
- Track and assure that monthly expenditures are within the budget
- Maintain disaster recovery/business continuity plan
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in small-mid sized companies
- At least 1 year of managing a small IT team, supporting up to 200 end users
- Expert level networking skills (We use Cisco and Meraki hardware)
- Cisco certifications preferred
- Experience with a majority of the following tools: Google G-Suite, Single sign-on, MacOS (we are primary a Mac office), Windows, network management and monitoring,
- Prior experience directly supporting executives is required
- Mastery of documentation and diagramming
- Experience running local area networks, enterprise grade wifi, firewalls, load balancers, IPV4, security standards
- Strong communicator: able to effectively work with both technical and non-technical staff.
