Associate Counsel
Enfusion has an immediate opening for an entry-level attorney to join our legal team in our Chicago office! The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial in nature and interested in the asset management and capital markets space. He or she should have a strong desire to learn, yet be able to maneuver through complex transactions, solve problems, and correspond with executive management with little guidance.

What You’ll Do
- Work with other departments to improve the process and internal controls and create efficiencies
- Exercise good judgment working with Enfusion clients and vendors, advising Enfusion’s global team, and contributing to Enfusion’s continued growth and success
- Draft, review, negotiate and manage a variety of policies and commercial agreements including master service agreements and corresponding addendums, NDAs, leases, and other vendor agreements
- Field, manage and respond to due diligence requests
- Identify, research, analyze, and advise teams on a range of relevant legal issues
- Assist Enfusion’s teams such as HR, Marketing, Accounting, and Business Development as issues arise and as Enfusion expands into new jurisdictions
- Communicate complex legal concepts in simple terms
Who We Need
- 1-2 years of experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Admitted to practice in Illinois or the ability to register as In-House Counsel in Illinois
- Juris doctorate from a reputable law school
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact with c-level executives, both internally and externally
- General understanding of HR, intellectual property, capital markets, and data privacy issues
- Analytical-minded with a creative problem-solving approach
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly exercise good business judgment
- Excellent responsiveness and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Background in technology or capital markets is a plus
