This position will support TransUnion’s Public Sector team, providing solutions to assist U.S. federal, state and local government agencies and educational institutions.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Legal, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years of experience in business-to-government and/or business-to-business transactions & contract review/redlining/negotiation, as part of a law firm, government legal department or corporate legal department.
Excellent abilities to identify risks, communicate the implications of those risks to key stakeholders, propose solutions, and assist in implementing those solutions.
Coolness under pressure, a sense of humor and great organizational skills.
We’d Love To See:
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Experience with federal or state government contracting or administrative law.
Experience with U.S. financial, data protection and/or privacy laws.

Impact You’ll Make:
Assists legal counsel in development, drafting, review, redlining and negotiation of contracts.
Researches and analyzes legal, regulatory and statutory issues confronting the company and its operations outlining applicable solutions and strategies.
Acts as liaison and internal/external client point of contact regarding various legal and relationship issues and contracts.
Develops and assists in maintaining all legal project related materials (e.g. action plans, tracking tools, playbooks, process documents).
Reviews, updates, creates and maintains various contract forms.
Works in coordination with other administrative/operational staff & attorneys to ensure ongoing commitment to company initiatives and completion of special projects.
Proposes solutions to problems identified for discussion with supervising attorneys.
