Associate, Experiential Marketing: Creating engaging experiences is inherent to the RXBAR brand. From sampling at a local event to 360 experiential campaigns to influencer events, sales tradeshows, CrossFit Games and more, RXBAR creates innovative experiences for a variety of audiences to drive awareness, trial, and brand love.

Associate, Experiential Marketing will be a well-organized, entrepreneurial and passionate leader who will support the planning, execution and recapping of events within dedicated verticals. Focusing on verticals including sales, sports, and group health/fitness, this role will learn the foundation skills needed to succeed the world of experiential marketing.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, be able to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently to meet deadlines helping create brand-building and revenue-driving events. A passion for engaging with people is essential to this role as the Associate will often be onsite at events connecting with our consumers. This position will report into the Senior Associate of Experiential Marketing and be a part of the thriving Communications team. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the Senior Associate of Experiential with cross-functional collaboration on planning, creative development, production and event execution for their assigned focus areas
  • Study and develop expertise in key verticals to provide strong recommendations on how RXBAR shows up in these spaces
  • Ownership of event details and logistics from research through post-event evaluation, including small- and large-scale events across brand, relationship and revenue-driving events
  • Support Field Marketing activations as needed
  • Help coordinate staff managing events
  • Evaluate all incoming event requests and determine next steps
  • Manage development of event tools and collateral
  • Partner with Supply Chain team to place orders for product and supplies
  • Meticulously place product orders and ensure all necessary items arrive to events
  • Support partnership with brand marketing, social media, partnerships and PR team to amplify events
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot emerging problems
  • Conduct all appropriate follow up and stewardship after each event including post event recaps, budget reports and ROI calculations with suggestions for improvement
  • Evaluate current methods and procedures in order to improve operations, create efficiencies and develop new and innovative ways to manage events
  • Oversee and book all travel and lodging needs
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Act as a brand champion at all events
  • Assist other team members as needed

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Marketing, Experiential Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in events, experiential marketing industry, field marketing or related field requiring creative concepting, brainstorming, and implementation
  • Proven event management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization, initiative and energy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage changing demands
  • Ability to think outside of the box and not be afraid to share your thoughts and ideas
  • Ability to think one step ahead to improve the process and make each event better
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience using sound judgment in situations requiring independent initiative and tact
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and work some evenings and weekends
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • MS Office proficiency
