Associate Vice President, Product Marketing (Chicago)
We’re looking to expand our market reach globally. We’ve just hired our SVP of Marketing and we’re looking to grow the team significantly.
In order to fuel growth, we’re hiring our first AVP of Product Marketing. We’re looking for a self-starter who is strategic, data-driven and highly technical.
You’ll need to be an excellent partner and collaborator as you’ll be working at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales.
We’re looking for someone who can think from 30,000ft but can also have a laser focus on the detail.
You’ll create toolkits and battle cards for sales and marketing ensuring they are equipped to sell the solution. And you’ll be a natural crafter of messaging & positioning for each or our buyer personas.
If you like independence and autonomy, while working on big projects for a fast-growing dynamic company, then this is a great role for you. You will report directly into the SVP of Marketing.
It’s a big plus if you know SaaS, FinTech or hedge funds and asset management.

What You'll Do
- Key decision-maker for the global go-to-market strategy.
- Define our personas and messaging by global segment
- Define the ideal customer profile and buyer personas.
- Conduct regular market research and define the Total Addressable Market.
- Gather and own competitor intelligence and leverage that for our campaigns.
- Partner with the product team and establish a process for the product roadmap.
- Liaison with the global sales team to ensure the needs of the sales team are being met
- Drive our content strategy for educating the market and acquiring new business.
- Subject matter expert to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with the needs of the market
- Own our sales enablement content.
- Develop and maintain our battle cards for key market segments
- Ability to craft both value-based and feature-focused messaging for multiple audiences.
- Create presentations, web pages, brochures, digital and offline marketing collateral, sales enablement tools and other materials tailored to resonate with multiple personas.
Who We Need
- 5+ years’ experience in product marketing or product management in the B2B SaaS space.
- Razor-sharp writing and presentation skills with a knack for distilling complex ideas into compelling copy.
- Proven understanding of B2B SaaS sales process, ideally at a FinTech provider, and experience working at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales.
- Ability to manage expectations, opinions, and feedback from multiple stakeholders and on multiple projects at all times.
- Demonstrated talent and appreciation for both qualitative and quantitative research and creating recommendations, strategies, and outputs based on that research.
- Proven success in fast-paced, global and matrixed environments.
