About the Team:
The Marketing function will reinvigorate the Illinois Lottery brand through innovative insight-led programs such as enhanced games, effective social messaging and original advertising campaigns.
Position Overview:
Within Camelot Illinois, the Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing the brand plan to life for consumers. This is role is responsible for developing and executing campaigns that drive awareness and category growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support development of annual consumer marketing plan with key internal stakeholders.
- Lead agency partners day to day efforts’ to ensure on time delivery of award nominating creative.
- Develop programs, platforms and activation to optimize brand assets, promotional timing, product mix for execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, both internal and external to ensure integration along the consumer path to purchase.
- Provide leadership in a fast pace environment with stretch goals.
- Plan and execute marketing programs.
- Perform post campaign analysis to ensure the delivery of identified KPI’s.
- Own and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and agency partners.
- Lead, manage, motivate and develop a team of Assistant Consumer Marketers.
- Other responsibilities may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in brand and/or consumer marketing within a CPG, retailer or agency environment.
- 2 or more years of experience in people management, developing and leading staff.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely at all levels within an organization.
- Team player who is able to manage and motivate people and to build strong relationships with a wide range of people.
- Genuine respect for and curiosity about consumers; along with knowledge and understanding of consumer insights.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to take a wide view and create, execute and manage a sound marketing plan.
- Must be able to critically analyze data and tackle problems and present viable solutions
- Influencing skills, with the ability to lead cross functionally and influence up, down and across the business.
- Must be adaptable, be open to taking on more and have the ability to adapt plans and direction as the business indicates.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage budgets and deadlines – and plan, achieve and evaluate results individually and through others.
Preferred:
- MBA preferred.
