Provi is seeking an experienced writer and content marketing enthusiast who has a passion for digging into the minds of customers to produce compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will be responsible for creating and executing our B2B content strategy to acquire and engage Provi’s target audiences via all channels. You are a data-driven storyteller who is well-versed in creating a strategy and producing content that informs, inspires and compels action. You are always testing new value propositions and other forms of content in an effort to improve, iterate and optimize messaging and delivery.
As a team member at a rapidly growing startup, we’re looking for someone who is a creative, results-driven risk-taker who is excited to take on the challenge of creating content that has a direct impact on company growth.
What you’ll be doing
Inform and execute—including writing— our content strategy centered around Provi data for all of our target audiences throughout each stage of the funnel.
Lead the end-to-end production of various types of content including blog posts, one-pagers, case studies, sales collateral, video scripts, etc.
Identify target keyword opportunities and optimize SEO to drive targeted traffic to provi.com and our blog.
Manage the distribution of content via social media, email, newsletters, and other various channels.
Collaborate with sales, customer marketing, visual design and product to understand the product value props and develop content to meet their needs
Initiate A/B testing and use content performance insights to align objectives with the highest traffic driving and engagement opportunities.
What we are looking for
Self-starter who has successfully built and executed a content strategy from the ground up
3-5 years of content marketing or journalism experience
Excellent writing and editing skills
Strong understanding of SEO best practices & keyword research
Prior experience creating B2B content
Familiarity with CMS management tools
Previous experience in the alcohol or hospitality industry
Experience in leveraging content for lead generation and nurturing
Experience in transforming data into actionable content that tells a story
