We need a proven content strategist who is never satisfied with the status quo, can pivot quickly across vendors, platforms, and content types, and who can enable teams through structure.

Position Type & Location: Full time role in the United States.
Responsibilities
· Define and evolve content strategy across multiple channels and platforms (digital, web-based, interactive, social, presentation-based, and more) that aligns with business objectives across various industries and service areas
· Establish, communicate, and facilitate the content strategy by working with internal partners in digital marketing, client marketing, corporate/brand marketing, and industry marketing
· Help develop content strategy for social media channels, working with social team to bring this strategy to life, test, and measure results
· Manage a stable of content agencies and research partner firms and drive them to excellence, deadlines, and consistency
· Manage the content marketing and research budgets and filter budget requests based on business priority
· Lead research studies, polls, and surveys – both recurring and one-time – from beginning to end idea to questionnaire development to data analysis, publishing, and promotion of research; partner with industry marketers on industry-specific research strategy
· Work closely with the senior editor to establish clear processes and protocols for research development and publishing, as well as test new layouts and editorial strategies
· Lead and commission content audits, conduct competitive research and trends-based research to constantly evolve our approach
· Work directly with the leader of corporate marketing to continually improve West Monroe’s standing and market share in a highly competitive field for thought leadership
Requirements
· 7-10 years of proven success in content marketing, content strategy, and research
· Impeccable writing and grammar skills
· A demonstrated understanding of various industries across the business landscape
· Track record of managing content projects from design to implementation, on-time, and with great relationships
· Demonstrated experience in research is a requirement
· A compelling portfolio of articles, white papers, social media, and other content across multiple channels – print, digital, social, etc.
· Excellent communication skills with the level of professional polish and finesse required to successfully work across all levels of the organization
· Ability to balance business priorities with creative drive
· Proven ability to build outstanding relationships across internal departments and external partners
