Being a Marketing Manager in Demand Generation at iManage means…
You are keen to develop your skills and experience, and actively contribute to our business growth across Enterprise and SMB prospect and customer accounts. You thrive on strategizing, executing, and reporting on multiple B2B campaigns throughout the buyer’s journey, customizing them per segment and region.
Our Director of Global Demand Generation, Lavinia Young, described the position best: "A demand gen marketer at iManage is excited about creating strategies to reach their target buyers across various segments and regions globally, testing new channels and tactics, and reporting on and optimizing their campaigns. They have autonomy over their demand gen programs, while working with talented Content, Brand, Field, Events, Product Marketing and Operations colleagues within the Marketing team, as well as Sales and other teams across the business."
iM Responsible For…
- Campaign Strategy/Planning: Leading the planning, development and execution of segment campaign activities that deliver the business quarterly objective presented by product and brand leadership.
- Audience Expertise: Identifying the appropriate account targets, messaging, value propositions, creatives, content, and collateral. Developing recommendations and guidance on effective methods to target various personas at prospect and customer accounts based on past results and new research.
- Marketing Execution: Assisting with developing and executing compelling, high-impact campaigns, content and global Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs across multiple channels (including webinars and newsletters) to successfully engage targets at prospect and customer accounts and generate pipeline / opportunities for Sales.
- Email / Content Development: Engaging internal and external resources to develop marketing assets and tools to help develop and convert opportunities throughout the buyer journey. Writing basic emails / social posts as needed, as well as editing emails in a marketing automation platform and reporting on results.
- Collaborate/Project Management/Virtual Team lead: Acting as the campaign virtual team lead to collaborate with other members of the marketing team (such as product marketing, brand, PR, Social, Events, Field, Operations, Content) to ensure successful execution.
- Reporting and Analytics: Helping to deliver insightful reporting and analytics that shows how marketing programs impact revenue; define and track key metrics to optimize marketing campaigns, help with dashboards, and deliver ad-hoc analyses as needed.
- Learning/Best Practices: Staying on the cutting edge of marketing best practices by researching the latest trends and gathering new ideas from industry analysts and experts, vendors/agencies, and peers/competitors.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing/Business or related field
- Experience with developing and executing demand generation and pipeline-building prospect and customer upsell programs and campaigns.
- Experience in leveraging customer analytics and insights data to guide marketing plans and to properly target personas at customer accounts.
- The ability to lead virtual, cross-functional teams with strong project management skills.
- A mindset that thrives in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment and comfortable exercising influence without authority to align teams around your marketing objectives.
- Experience as a team-oriented, motivated self-starter with relationship-building skills, who will approach challenges with a sense of humor and a positive attitude to do what’s right.
