Senior Digital Marketing Analyst
PEAK6 is a leading investment firm headquartered in Chicago. More than 20 years ago, we were one of the first firms to develop sophisticated proprietary technology in our trading business. Today, we leverage our technical ingenuity and operational ability across a number of investment areas, spanning early- to mid-stage growth capital, operational control, trading, and sports management, with an eye toward providing value to the customer. Over the years, we have built and operated several leading financial technology firms including OptionsHouse (sold to General Atlantic in 2014), and today our team includes a digital wealth clearinghouse, an outsource provider of flood insurance, a Premier League soccer team, a value investment arm, an incubation lab, and more.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a member of the marketing team at PEAK6, you’ll have a big impact on the firm’s growth. Marketing has a broad mandate at PEAK6, from helping to evaluate and launch new business opportunities to positioning the firm internally and externally for success. You’ll be exposed to a range of new challenges, with plenty of opportunity to enhance your skills. You’ll work across the entire business and product lifecycle, from helping shape development to driving launch and commercialization to growing adoption and setting up operational excellence at more mature businesses. We are looking for a creative, analytical, collaborative marketer to join our fast-growing team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Executing on the PEAK6 marketing strategy, from helping us grow brand awareness to
delivering new assets to managing conversion rate optimization experiments - Owning digital marketing testing programs and collaborating on broader evaluation
processes as we explore and validate new product / business venture opportunities - Executing on customer acquisition initiatives that support the launch of new opportunities
across the funnel, including both B2B and B2C - Measuring the efficacy of various marketing initiatives, delivering reporting packages, and
helping devise strategies to accelerate and improve ROI - Managing or learning about new marketing channels to drive traffic, new users, and
revenue - Recommending new tools or technologies to improve our marketing stack
- Collaborating on email, content, and social marketing initiatives as well as assisting with
customer acquisition communications from brand to pitchdecks
You’ll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:
- 3+ years in marketing, preferably with experience in start-ups or launching new products
or businesses - Hands-on experience crafting, executing, and optimizing digital and email marketing
campaigns - Track record of success using data to drive decision-making, an ability to devise metrics
and measure results that tie directly to company goals and lead to a thoughtful point of
view for how to take products to market - Great communications and writing skills
- Strong sense of urgency
- Great attention to detail and desire to sweat the small stuff and willingness to adapt
on-the-fly - Tolerance for ambiguity
