Cribl is looking for a Director of Channel and Field Marketing. We are a fast-growing, remote-first company with a mission to unlock the value of all observability data. We're backed by Sequoia and CRV, and our products are deployed in some of the largest organizations in the world processing 100s of TB and PB of IT & Security data, and managed by Site Reliability Engineers, System Engineers, and Technical Operations teams.

We are looking for an experienced Director to develop and grow a talented, global Channel & Field Marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing Channel & Field Marketing strategies that align to Cribl’s business objectives. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to support a fast-growing company as it categorizes a new market and grows revenue at scale.

You will set strategic and tactical direction for related Marketing activities that meet pipeline growth targets by developing and implementing the marketing strategy, plan and budget. Including ensuring the right mix of marketing programs to reach, educate, nurture and convert our target audiences to drive high quality leads and opportunities for all key regions.

The position requires a blend of strong leadership and marketing execution capabilities along with an ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external marketing, sales, and executive teams. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Revenue Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and managing a team of field and channel marketers to support key regions
  • Defining channel/field marketing strategies in alignment with company priorities and in partnership with Product Marketing, and Sales teams; supporting established targets for our sales teams and our channel partners
  • Develop a cadence and process for measuring, analyzing and reporting on channel/field marketing pipeline-building activities to determine their contribution to pipeline health and evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Build and nurture relationships with the regional sales teams sharing global and regional marketing plans and priorities and weekly/monthly/quarterly insights on performance
  • Develop repeatable, scalable global playbooks including, but not limited to, outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow up, nurture, channel activities, live/online events, meeting setting with the goal of profitably building pipeline and accelerating bookings
  • Provide needed visibility into lead follow up and account prioritization to ensure targets are met and established processes are followed
  • Effectively manage, administer, and measure budgets to optimize return on investment

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of channel and/or field marketing experience leading teams of marketers
  • Experience recruiting talent and building world-class teams
  • Strategic leadership with experience driving team alignment across marketing and sales teams on campaign objectives and KPIs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a highly collaborative mindset - you listen, seek to understand, communicate your vision, and can drive to outcomes.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Operates with a sense of purpose and urgency.
  • Strong background in marketing analytics and metrics to inform strategic decision making with high technical acumen to advise on tech stack requirements for deriving needed business insights
  • Expertise in B2B SaaS for start ups
