Who You Are:
PartySlate seeks a highly-motivated individual to join the rapidly-growing marketing team. The Email Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing to create and implement email marketing strategies, starting with clear customer journeys for both B2C and B2B audiences. The Email Marketing Manager should have experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms and use those skills to retain customers, grow our business, and promote our brand. 

Responsibilities might include: 

• Manage marketing automation software to streamline email marketing campaigns
• Clean and organize current email subscriber lists to get organized and create clear segments
• Work with content and product teams to outline B2B and B2C customer journeys with consideration to key segments
• Execute day-to-day email campaigns from end to end, including managing customer segmentation, creation of creative assets in collaboration with the content team, and confirmation of sends
• Manage content-focused and on-boarding email campaigns in partnership with content team
• Track and report on email performance KPIs and use learnings to drive further optimizations, including open rates, unsubscribes, conversions, and more
• Execute thoughtful A/B testing regimen for subject lines, time sent, frequency, and segmentation
• Thoughtfully communicate email learnings and insights to leadership team and across departments 
• Utilize data to provide additional insights into testing strategies for email channel
• Proactively identify and resolve technical data upload and/or structure concerns that could affect email performance
• Continuously track and ensure performance for email deliverability, compliance, and email list management
• Proactively partner with editorial, content, and social media teams to ensure a cohesive omni-channel marketing strategy and execution
• Maintain the PartySlate brand integrity through all email communications

Qualifications should likely include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, journalism, advertising, business, or related field
• 2 - 5 years experience executing email campaigns using marketing automation platform 
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to optimize marketing campaigns
• Basic knowledge of SQL and HTML/CSS a plus
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plus
• Naturally detail-oriented and self-driven individual
• Strong written and verbal skills
