Who You Are:

PartySlate seeks a highly-motivated individual to join the rapidly-growing marketing team. The Growth Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the Product team to develop, implement, measure, and optimize digital campaigns via SEO, paid social, paid search, email, PR, and other channels. The Growth Marketing Manager should have experience with leading digital marketing tools and platforms and use those skills to grow our business and promote our brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute, measure, and report on performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess results against quarterly and yearly goals

  • Manage on-site SEO strategy and implementation; partner with the Product team to manage and track necessary backend SEO progress

  • Manage annual budget and track actual spend; strategize where and how budget is best spent and optimize campaigns, as needed

  • Plan and implement digital campaigns across various social media platforms to drive high-intent website traffic; campaign platforms could include Facebook, AdWords, LinkedIn, and/or Pinterest

  • Identify strategic tests across all digital platforms; tests may include Facebook audience targeting and segmentation, A/B testing within email campaigns, AdWords tests, emerging media platform exploration, retargeting, and more

  • Support email marketing efforts by building and tracking strategic email campaigns in MailChimp for both B2C and B2B audiences

  • Implement retargeting campaigns on Facebook and other digital channels to build the PartySlate brand and encourage repeat website visitors

  • Work with the Editor to build and optimize content within WordPress, as needed

  • Build performance dashboards and reports to easily share with Director of Marketing and other key stakeholders; reports may include metrics on website traffic, social media posts, organic search rankings, paid search metrics, and more

  • Stay up-to-date on digital marketing, social media, and SEO trends

Skills Needed:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or related field

  • In depth knowledge of SEO, paid search, retargeting, and paid social

  • Highly proficient in digital marketing platforms, including Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, and other related platforms

  • Highly proficient in all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn

  • Highly proficient in Google Analytics; certification a plus

  • In depth understanding of WordPress or other CMS

  • Ability to translate data sources and results into meaningful insights

  • Experience managing a marketing or media budget

  • Extremely strong written and editing skills

  • Ability to confidently communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization

  • Highly organized, self starter, and self motivator

  • Willingness to learn and perfect new skills

Our Chicago office where we were founded is in between The Merchandise Mart and East Bank Club. We have a flexible hybrid work environment and have employees located all over the country.
