You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, leading teams that help hard working people get access to trustworthy credit and help grow our profitable businesses through online marketing, TV advertising, direct mail, and other marketing channels. Our marketers use robust big data analysis and traditional marketing research to draw insights and develop marketing campaigns, make product recommendations and improvements, and provide compelling mobile customer experiences. We are looking for an emerging marketing leader who understands internet consumers and can lead a team of 15 or more people managing large marketing investments. Get ready to join a fast moving team that guides marketing with live dashboards and weekly pitch meetings with senior management.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead Growth - Lead multiple marketing teams supporting growth goals for P&Ls in the U.S. and U.K., providing new customer acquisition, portfolio marketing, customer experience, and brand management services. Heavy emphasis on online marketing channels, in addition to direct mail, TV, radio and partner marketing. This role will have responsibility for a $1B Portfolio and $110M in marketing spend.
- Manage Marketing Strategy and Capabilities – Lead development and management of multi-year marketing strategy and capabilities building, e.g. market segmentation, campaign approach, technology tools, data sources, and people skills. Manage relationships with internal partners, i.e. P&L, Analytics, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Finance, and external partners, e.g. marketing agencies, CRAs, etc., to build marketing roadmaps integrated with product and marketing strategies.
- Manage Marketing Forecasts - In partnership with the P&Ls and FP&A, guide the development and management of annual, quarterly, and monthly volume forecasts and allocate resources to ensure consumers are learning about the best credit offerings in the market and businesses exceed their goals.
- Engage in our Mission - Enova’s mission is to help hard working people get access to trustworthy credit, and as the consumer marketing leader, you will be encouraged to participate in consumer and industry groups, present at key forums, and contribute to telling our customers’ stories.
- Build New Marketing Capabilities - Relentlessly seek out new approaches, techniques, tools, and skills that can improve Enova’s consumer marketing and lead the change needed to test and adoption new marketing methods.
- Provide Business Leadership – As member of business leadership team, participate in guiding the marketing community at Enova, and developing marketing policies and practices. In addition, engage with leaders in other groups to align goals, allocate resources efficiently, and build a company culture that keeps Enova an awesome place to work.
- Manage and Develop Talent – Identify, recruit, and develop top talent that helps Enova maintain top decile business performance.
You’re right for this job if you have:
- 10 - 12 years of marketing experience with internet consumers, including 5 years of marketing experience overseeing multiple channels (consumer financial services experience is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or other business-related/quantitative fields of study. MBA preferred.
- Passion for problem solving and working cross-functionally to identify opportunities and resolve them.
- Strong analytical and consumer insights experience with ability to grasp complex business issues and lead decision making in an analytical and data-intensive environment.
- Successful people manager with proven skills in developing and leading high performing teams to deliver optimal results in a growth organization.
