We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist during an exciting time of growth and expansion at Affirm! This person is responsible for making sure we are communicating with our internal Affirmers in a clear, concise, and thoughtful manner. 

In this position, you will work closely with internal partners to support planning and executing communications focused on engaging and enabling our employees across a number of critical topics, specifically but not limited to, partnering closely with our People team in the development of global HR-related communications. 

You will help support the strategy and evolution of internal digital channels to ensure Affirmers are well-informed and understand Affirm’s values and goals.

This role requires a strong communicator who can move quickly and articulately on super tight turnaround times! You will need to write, edit, review, and proof content for a global audience. You are collaborative, nimble, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment! 

The objective of this role will be to help support communications  engagement for Affirm employees in an effort to Increase employee engagement, improve collaboration cross-departmentally and among teams, boost business results by streamlining communication, and increase transparency and belonging.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with members of the People team and other key internal partners to develop and execute communications to keep Affirmers  informed, connected, and engaged with a lens on inclusive language and scalability across multiple time zones and countries
  •  Ensure clear communication of employee-facing People programs, policies, and procedures
  • Review Employee Resource Group (ERG) and philanthropy communications, partnering cross-functionally with the DEI and Social Impact teams
  • Manage the content for our global weekly newsletter
  • Support meeting and content management of our bi-weekly global All Teams meetings

What We Look For

  • 3+ years of communications, writing, and/or HR experience in a high-growth environment
  • Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills, and the ability to anticipate and preempt problems before they occur
  • Demonstrates an understanding of internal communications channels and software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and polished presentation abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure to adhere to tight, last-minute deadlines

Location - Remote U.S.
