Lifecycle Marketing Specialist - Email Marketing

The Team’s Focus:
TransUnion Interactive creates web-based financial products that help consumers manage their credit, identity and money. Our product suite includes TransUnion Credit Monitoring, TrueIdentity and TrueCredit—products that help our customers monitor critical changes in their credit by assisting them with debt analysis, identity theft protection features, and money management tools.
Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a performance based marketer to help us develop a best in class direct marketing strategy. You will assist in the development and analysis of marketing campaigns to acquire, upsell, and retain customers. You will act as a liaison to external vendors and cross departmentally. Reporting into the Director of CRM, you will be responsible for leading these projects from conceptualization through implementation.

What you’ll bring:
- BA or BS degree with a minimum of 2-4 years of email marketing experience
- Experience working with technical business units and proficiency in learning new technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders are required
- Strong background in engagement, re-engagement and retention strategies
- Strong analytical skills and competence with quantitative data, particularly those analyses used to drive segmentation, targeting, and personalization
- Strategic thinking and planning, operations knowledge, and analytical capabilities
- Strong project management skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Oracle, Salesforce, Zoho)
- Ability to thrive and stay organized in a growing, high-energy, and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in group settings
- Proficient in: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience writing creative briefs and managing campaign implementation from start to finish
Impact you’ll make:
- Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, direct mail and our call center
- Act as a liaison to external vendors and cross departmentally
- Assist in the development and analysis of marketing campaigns to acquire, upsell, and retain customers
- Reporting into the Director of CRM, you will be responsible for leading these projects from conceptualization through implementation.
- Effective collaboration and work with cross functional teams
- Developing and managing marketing initiatives in the email channel
- Collaborate with email service provider and team members to continuously optimize and implement programs
- Help manage a multichannel CRM strategy taking into account a range of product offerings, from freemium membership to paid subscription to transactional purchases
- Optimize marketing performance through A/B testing, personalization, segmentation, and creative.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining reports, project spreadsheets, presentations, and other documentation.
- Manage email production from start to finish
