As a key member of the Corporate Marketing team, this Manager will contribute to the growth of the Hyatt brand in the B2B space. He/she will have direct responsibility for the segments listed below with the goal to drive preference and conversion from consideration resulting in incremental room nights, revenue, and loyalty program enrollment:

- Meeting Planners – Professional and Non-Professional

- Travel Advisors – Consortia, Wholesale, Luxury

- Corporate Travel – Volume and Unmanaged accounts

Additionally, the Manager will play a key role in execution of strategic go-to-market integrated campaigns, customized programs, offerings/incentives, and content solutions, and will manage various levels of internal and agency relationships.

With a heavy focus on B2B customer needs, the Manager will partner with key stakeholders in Sales and Events and collaborate with Corporate Communications, Loyalty, Digital Marketing, Social, E-Commerce, Consumer Insights, and Global Brand teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and that programs are designed with the direct target segment in mind to deliver on corporate goals.

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and working closely with peers focused on B2C and loyalty efforts, this person will serve as the connector of member and non-member activities to create better integration and efficiencies.

Requirements

This role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker with proven success in the contribution of the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and tradeshow activations as well as experience in content creation and management. The ideal candidate will be a creative, results driven, agile professional with a passion for marketing, strong analytical skills, a unique ability to communicate well with others (both in one-on-one and presentation environments) and proven project management skills. Hospitality industry experience is a plus, but not necessary.

 

Responsibilities

· Execution of integrated marketing plans for the Hyatt brand (i.e., promotions, offers, experiences, partnerships, etc.)

· Establish and evolve social media, digital and mobile strategies and tactics targeting group, travel advisor and corporate travel segments

· Brand management of B2B foundation including brand guidelines, standards, positioning, and narrative

· Manage the B2B creative and content development and executions across key Hyatt-owned and paid channels (i.e., Tradeshow booth, Targeted sites, Emails, Sales Solutions, Meetings Portal, etc.)

· Responsible for brand education and relationship-building within marketing and across corporate sales and events departments and regional teams

· Maintain knowledge of portfolio of brands, business needs, customer segments and competitive landscape, including market conditions, trends, and advertising

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and project manage initiatives

· Partner with the communications team to maintain sales messaging surrounding Hyatt’s key differentiators.

· Together with Consumer Insights & Analytics, study trends, needs, behaviors and segmentation to continuously improve strategies, analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities.

· Leverage data and analytics to optimize all marketing activities and report on campaign results. Understand operational needs of marketing programs to successfully execute campaigns.

Experience

  • 7+ years brand/marketing experience required, proven success leading go-to-market campaigns from strategy to execution; noteworthy if inclusive of B2B, hospitality or travel categories
  • Strong brand management experience inclusive of brand voice, visual identity, positioning, and narrative
  • Must have a detailed understanding of all marketing tactics/channels. Able to connect the dots strategically, creatively, and operationally.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator. Able to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders at various levels.
  • Must be able to handle multiple high-profile projects, with superior project management skills, and thrive in a fast paced, highly matrixed organization.
  • Self-motivated, results driven.
  • Sound planning, forecasting, problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to drive from ideation to execution while linking strategy to implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate cross-functionally and through all levels of management.
  • Innovative and forward thinking, keeping up with the latest marketing, loyalty, and digital/social media trends while proactively incorporating new ideas

Education

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Advertising
