Enova is searching for a strategy leader with experience in executing market research, examining competitor products and marketing, and providing customer and business insights. In this role you will engage with senior leadership, product managers, marketing and engineering to inform strategic decision-making — including insights into markets, industry analysts, customers and competitive dynamics.
What you’ll do:
Help businesses win in the market by leveraging market, competitive and customer intelligence to develop a deep understanding of market opportunities, customers, and business drivers
Produce insights and present market and competitive intelligence
- Gather and integrate information and analyses on markets, competitors, and customers to inform business decisions; make this information easily accessible by the business.
- Provide insights on competitor strategies, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threat analysis.
- Provide leadership for business planning efforts, and effectively communicate insights to senior leaders and team members across Enova.
- Prepare industry, market and competitive intelligence assessments, with business implications and actionable recommendations, and present to each businesses twice a year.
- Monitor and report market and competitor events and implications.
- Conduct market sizing and market opportunity analysis.
- Identify and analyze new business opportunities in existing, adjacent or new markets and businesses.
Lead 3rd party research and conduct primary and secondary research
- Manage design, execution, and analysis of primary market research across target audiences.
- Leverage secondary data sources to generate comprehensive market, customer and competitive insights.
- Work with internal customers to facilitate innovative thinking and to generate research/analytic methodologies to answer key business questions.
Make intelligence available to the business
- Develop and maintain a library of collected research and competitive intelligence
- Organize and deploy in a way that allows easy access to Enova team members and is efficient for compiling analysis and reports
You’re right for this job if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, or business.
- 7+ years of experience in market intelligence or strategy consulting, preferably with some financial services experience.
- Strategic mindset and ability to quickly boil-down research, business analysis and third-party sources into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple, complex projects with proven track record for results.
- Strong presentation skills, written communication abilities, and presentation software skills required.
- Solid understanding of survey-based research, quantitative skills and mastery of key tools for competitive intelligence and big data analysis.
