Marketing and Events Specialist

With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally decode and process our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of this data. We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings. We are looking for a Marketing and Events Specialist to grow our customer engagement practice.
The Marketing and Events Specialist will work with the Director of Communications, as well as a cross-functional teams with a focus on sales and design. This role will also plan and execute engaging experiences for our customers, partners and medical advisors through on-site events, webinars, and printed collateral.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an event strategy that reaches our target where they are, driving awareness and engagement at conferences and medical advisory boards
- Partner with sales, corporate communications, design, medical affairs and other business partners to develop event strategies that support business goals, including recommending opportunities to help gain additional exposure, obtain new leads or increase volume
- Negotiate contracts and manage all event logistics including vendors, collateral, staffing, sponsorships, promotional materials, etc.
- Project manage sales and marketing collateral projects by coordinating internal teams across sales, design, operations, and communications
- Serve as point-of-contact for sales team on collateral production, maintaining priority list with design lead
- Analyze success and impact of each event
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of event marketing experience, preferably in a B2B technology company and trade show production
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail, including an eye for design
- Must be self-motivated with an ability to adapt to changing priorities
- MS Office Proficiency (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), Salesforce and Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred
Prior experience in biotech or healthcare preferred
