Making a Difference
The Campaign and Content Writer is responsible for strategy, development, execution and optimize global go-to-market plans and programs designed to increase sales growth and expand market share. Drive input and execution across departments, marketing teams and sales regions to deliver awareness, demand generation and enablement programs globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect themes/messaging/positioning to be communicated to target buyers that address the industry landscape and key issues
- Develop measurable campaigns that addresses awareness, demand generation and sales enablement components, working with key functions to execute deliverables/tactics
- Provide the strategic guidance for content strategy to internal organizations (Product Marketing, Communications, etc.) and outside vendors to build relevant content for various audiences to consume in a variety of formats, including whitepapers, video, articles, presentations, etc. to meet program goals
- Identify relevant channels/vehicles to address target audiences
- Manage campaign budgets with appropriate parties
- Coordinate with geographies and field marketing teams to ensure campaign objectives are understood and communicated, campaign milestones hit, and in-period adjustments made based on requirements and/or market shifts
- Manage day-to-day campaign activities including working with virtual teams to drive execution against objectives and deadlines
- Work closely with the product marketing team to understand goals and strategies to help drive input to campaign development
- Gather inputs and analytics from various sources to better understand market needs and optimize programs
- Manage the Campaign/Program “Playbook” for the entire marketing organization
- Meet with various constituents on an ongoing basis to ensure understanding of go-to-market campaign strategies
- Work with the Demand Center team for program/campaign execution
- Support campaigns with content needed for emails, social, blogs and digital
- Provide writing support for campaign execution using expertise and strategy for specific personas, target accounts, products and segments
Qualifications:
- 4 to 7 years’ experience B2B marketing, preferably in the technology services space
- Proven success developing multi-touch, multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns
- Project management
- Experience and comfort in facilitating cross-functional teams
- Understanding of marketing best practices and automation
- Understanding of buyer personas and buyer journey
- Experience setting goals, kpi’s, reporting and analytics
- Excellent and multi-tasking, working with competing deadlines
- Excellent writing/communication skills and PowerPoint/presentation skills
- Experience with complex portfolio offering
Preferences:
- Experience in the Security, IT or technology industry
- Experience with marketing automation
- Experience working in a global environment
