PrintWithMe is looking for a well-rounded team player to lead our marketing efforts - both B2B and B2C activities, across all channels. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in taking on a broad range of responsibilities and is ready to "run the show" for a growing technology company.
This vital role will be responsible for both the strategy and execution of all our marketing campaigns, with support from a junior marketing coordinator. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the growth and retention of both our partner locations as well as the consumers of our product. Is it a tall order? You bet. Do we think you’re up for it? Absolutely.
A typical day might include
Brainstorming with the CEO and sales team on strategies to generate more partner leads and designing timelines to execute on that work.
Analyzing the performance of an email workflow and making changes to the copy and CTAs to improve conversions.
Creating a style guide for the business and doing an audit of where voice and tone needs to be adjusted to ensure cohesiveness.
Working with our junior marketer to design new in-store signage.
Preparing new landing pages and Adwords campaign to test a new acquisition idea for consumers.
Creating a calendar of trade show opportunities and making recommendations to the leadership team on which ones you think will have the most impact.
This job might be for you if
You are a creative and data-driven marketer with hands-on experience designing, developing and executing marketing campaigns for B2B and/or B2C tech companies. You have spent some years in a contributor or small managerial role on an early-stage or growth-stage startup team, absorbing best practices and tricks of the trade. You have a wealth of experience in either B2B or B2C acquisition and enough experience in the other areas to be dangerous. Now you’re ready to make your mark running your own team.
To land this gig
You’re going to need at least a couple years of marketing experience, preferably in a startup or a high-growth company. Why startups? Well, early-stage companies are a special breed. A bit chaotic, and always more work to do than we have hands available. You will need to have attention to detail, but not too much. Sometimes, done is better than perfect, especially when you’re juggling so many things at once. If you have experience in a similar kind of environment, we’d especially love to hear from you.
We also need someone who can come in and start setting things in motion without a ton of guidance. Marketers who have tactical experience building and launching campaigns and know exactly what it takes to get that work across the finish line will do well here. There will be more work than you have time, so being able to distill what’s important to do now and what can wait will be an important skill.
And last, but maybe most important, is your handle of the written word. Our marketing will depend on your ability to communicate succinctly and cut through the noise. From ads to website copy to trade show collateral - we’re relying on you and your writing to help us capture the attention and trust of strangers and turn them into customers. We’re a big fan of the phrase, “show, don’t tell,” so serve us some creative heat in your cover letter to show us you’ve got the chops.
